It cannot be done in 5.1.1 or 5.1.2, as far as anyone has ever figured out.
It is a well-known requirement, for just the reasons you mention. Be just a
little patient...

Does anyone have experience in disabling / restricting the Acknowledge
function
from the web interface in 5.1.1? We would like to provide the web interface
to a
larger audience, but do not want to extend the ability to acknowledge
outages.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
