Zolton,
Use the MIB-browser to query the MIB-II SNMP sysObjectID of the systems that
you're
having problems with. Whatever sysObjectID comes back... add that to your
oid_to_type
file... copying one of the lines you listed below, but use the new
object-id.
Also add entries (if necessary) to the oid_to_sym file.
Regards,
Gary Boyles, Intel

Subject: Re: NT machines with SNMP
Hello,
The MS section in the oid_to_type file looks like:
1.3.6.1.4.1.311.1.1.3.1:Microsoft:Microsoft Windows NT: # Microsoft Windows
NT Agent
1.3.6.1.4.1.311.1.1.3.1.1:Microsoft:Microsoft Windows NT 4.0: # Microsoft
Windows NT Agent
1.3.6.1.4.1.311.1.1.3.1.2:Microsoft:Microsoft Windows NT 4.0: # Microsoft
Windows NT Agent
1.3.6.1.4.1.311.1.1.3.1.3:Microsoft:Microsoft Windows NT 4.0: # Microsoft
Windows NT Agent
1.3.6.1.4.1.311.1.1.3.1.4:Microsoft:Microsoft Windows NT 4.0: # Microsoft
Windows NT Agent
1.3.6.1.4.1.311.1.1.3.2:Microsoft:Microsoft Windows 95: # Microsoft Windows
95 Agent
Some PCs have the 2nd entry and some other NT machines the 3rd.
Do you think I need to edit this?
Thanks for help, Zoltan
