I think you are on your own for a Digital enviornment, unless you can find a
user who has done it. There are some scripts in the back on the NetView for
UNIX 5.1 release notes for the sort of thing that one has to do in HACMP, the
AIX High Availability environment, but that is all. Because NetView knows about
its own IP address and other devices in the network send traps to that address,
you will see that the script also assume you will migrate the IP address and the
hostname of the box.
There is also a redbook, SG24-2032-00, Implementing TME 10 in High Availability
Environments, but it only speaks about Framework and TEC in AIX (using HACMP or
QualixHA) and Solaris (using Solstice or QualixHA) environments.
As I am sure you know, Digital UNIX is what Tivoli calls a "Tier 2" environment,
which means that while we support them, they do not get the same priority that
"Tier 1" environments like Solaris and AIX get, so it may be some time before
anybody writes such a document. Indeed, I would guess that if you are
successful, then you could be the author.

Subject: NetView in HA environment
Hi,
is there anybody who knows where to find informations on how to design a NetView
solution in a Digital UNIX high availability environment?
Glad for any suggestion.
Thanks in advance.
Cordiali saluti/Regards
