Good luck. We don't have any way of telling what is going on with Exceed.
That's a connection between the X client on Exceed and the X server on AIX, and
that is not the level at which we work. NetView simply uses the same X APIs it
always has, and does not know , and cannot know, anything about what version of
X is running at the end user's system. So you use Exceed at your own risk.
If you can duplicate your problem on the AIX box with just an X telnet session,
then I would suggest opening a problem to Support and getting some help in
analyzing your performance. They may be able to help, if you will install the
AIX Performance Toolbox and gather some data from it for the Tivoli Performance
guru's to analyze. And don't be surprised if they tell you to install 5.1.2 as
well.

Subject: Update maps
Hello everyone,
Netview for AIX 5.1.1
AIX 4.3.2
Usually I 've one map opened in Read/Write map and 3 or 4 opened in
read only map.
The maps opened in read only, suffer latency to update the state of
the objects respect the real situation
showed by the read/write map.
The maps are all opened by X-Window program (Exceed) on Windows-95
systems program.
Is this a known problem ?
Is Netview Client the right solutions to avoid this problem ?
Any helps would be appreciated.
Thank you
