Is snmpd up? How's you name resolution working?
The key to understanding what netmon is doing is in the netmon trace.
You say it doesn't show anything abnormal. Well, then, what does it show?
Are you tracing anything? Did you do "netmon -M -1" from the command line to
turn on the trace?
How long have you had this problem? And what happened before it started?
And if you really need URGENT help then you shuld call IBM/Tivoli support and
open a problem. This is a user group and no one owes you an answer.

Subject: Netview does not work
Netview 5.1.1
AIX 4.3.2
Hi folks, I need urgent advice.
It seems demon Netmon does not working.
No discovery nodes, no polls devices.
Ovstatus netmon return that netmon is running.
Netmon.trace don't say anything abnormal.
I already stopped Netview and Restart
I already shutdown the system.
I did a Resolvy consistency database.
Nothing I did that took effect.
What can I do to understand the problem?
