Hi There!
I saw your note on the NetView forum, and thought I'd say hello. How are things
going for you? Jennifer Nelson and I are working together again at a customer
site. Say hello to Brad!

Subject: snmpwalk versus mib browser
I loaded a cisco mib file for the local director product. I am able to query
this mib from the mib browser via the snmpv1/snmpv2 pull down. I cannot walk
this device with snmpwalk "ipaddress". I get "End of MIB". I can however, pull
the same local director info from the device using snmpwalk and the local
director MIB OID number ie snmpwalk "ipaddress" .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.99
I thought the snmpwalk command would use the mibs I loaded to allow me to query
the device from the command line without entering specific MIBs.
I believe the MIB I loaded is V2, could this be my problem? If so, how can I
query this device from the command line.
