| Service Desk provides a module known as the NSM Gateway capable of passing
events from NetView on to the Service Desk (TPM etc). It's actually pretty
customizeable to allow for mapping specific slots (if comgin from TEC) or
MIB information to SCIM depending on how you'd like to write your rules and
scripts. Having done 20 or so of these I can speak from experience that
you'll need some customization on the scripts (read: get the idea and
rewrite) provided with the module but if you're class/rule savvy and decent
with Perl or bash it's pretty straightforward. Let me know if you'd like
any detailed information and I'll be glad to oblige,

Subject: Netview 5.1 NT and TSD Integration
I need some informations on the tne best way to integrate Netview 5.1 NT
and Tivoli Service Desk NT.
Could we create a "ticket" for TSD from a Netview trap ?
Thanks in advance.
