You should probably do a number of things depending upon what functional
parts of the product you're using.
I would suggest:
- all process monitors
- event processing monitoring by periodically sending an snmp trap to NV and
testing it arrived in TEC or whatever.
- checking objects in the seed file are actually in the map(s).
- checking data collection is actually happening

Does anyone have a way to monitor that Netview is up and running from
DM? I thought about setting up a monitor for each deamon listed in the
OVSTATUS but there has to be a better way. Any ideas?
