Hi Joel
At present we send our alerts from BMC Patrol to ConnectPatrol which
integrates with Commandpost(BMC,
However the info that I was given is that PatrolView (BMC) gets loaded as a
plugin to Netview/AIX and then is able to receive that alerts. Have I got
the wrong end of the picture ?
Thanks

We are using Patrol on NT Solaris and AIX servers. There is no direct
integration with NetView, but their is TEC integration. Our long-term plan
is to correlate NetView and Patrol events in TEC.

Subject: [NV-L] Monitoring Servers...
Hello All.
I am running NetView V5.2, AIX 4.3.2.
We have recently been given a mandate to do the following for our servers:
Monitor Availability, Performance, and Utilization.
We have the following types of servers:
AIX, NT, SUN, HP, AS/400
I would like to use NetView as much as possible to do this.
I know what to do for the AIX boxes (i.e. trapgend) but, is anyone out there
monitoring Availability, Performance, and Utilization for NT ??
Any of the others??
Any information appreciated.
Sincerely,
Gord Michaels
