What goes into the slot is determine by the slot map values you set in
trapd.conf, assuming you are sending these events to TEC via the internal
adapter. But you can only set them to constants and variables contained in the
trap itself. If you want to add new information, then you may have to use a
ruleset to issue a new trap which contains the information you want and send
that one to TEC instead of the first.

Subject: [NV-L] Event values
Greetings. I need the ability to change a TEC slot value within a
NetView event. For example. I have defined an event within NetView and
set two slot values to be used with the event. When I issue an snmptrap
command, is there a way to change what the contents of these slot values
are? It appears that you have to pre-set these values. Any ideas?
