There are two ways to set the relevant attributes.  By default NetView does
not interrogate for this information.

1) Install TIPN (Tivoli Integration Pack for NetView) with your Framework to
enable NetView to glean data from the Framework databases.

2) look into the configuration files for creating smartsets (I think they
are CreateSmartSets.* and something with nvsniffer in it).  You'll find a
couple of port tests commented out which will evaluate and set these
attributes.  If you choose to use this route to learning your managed
environment, be sure that the port your Tivoli Enterprise products is using
is the same as the port test NetView wants to do with nvsniffer.

Checking this information will also help you evaluate which of these
attributes is mosst applicable for your SmartSet.
