5.1.1 is very back level and you should upgrade to 5.1.3.  Then you would
have
the man page (man tecint.conf) telling you that you should edit the
/usr/OV/conf/tecint.conf file and add a ServerPort statement if you require
a
specific port.
ServerPort=5529
is an example.

When forwarding events to TEC ( NetView on AIX ), portmapper is used. Is
there a way to specify a specific port ? I could not find any setting for
this in the smitty nv6000  menu for NV 5.1.1 .  Does maybe NV version 6.0
provide this feature?
