I tried Ctrl + LeftMouseButton on a Solaris box running X-Windows to an AIX box
running Netview but it just drew a rectangle on the screen and the icon did not
move. I tried Ctrl + MiddleMouseButton and that worked.

Thanks for your help

Michael

I have the same query, if I turn off auto-layout I cannot drag the icons to
the required location on the map, I presume there is some simple trick to
this but I haven't stumbled across it as yet. Any clues?

Cheers - Gavin Newman

Netview does a fairly good job of discovering the network and building a
picture. But it puts Asia right next to Connecticut.

Is there a way to drag and drop sections of the map so that the locations
more or less correspond to a real world image? Also, to have the basic
structure preserved as more nodes are added.

Thanks, Rayt
