Daniel,

We are using NetFinity here to manage about 500 servers and we are
successfully sending SNMP traps to NetView/AIX. To do so we had to implement
an Alert Manager 'Send SNMP Alert' action which requires the SNMP service to
be active on the server.

Please let me know if you don't know how to set this up and I will try to
help.
