This could be explained only by a couple of things that I can think of:
a) you have unmanaged and remanaged the networks and routers,
but no new status can be obtained because netmon is not running, or
netmon is way, way behind, or is running with Status Polling turned off
(Options...Topology).
b) the interface cards that supply the status to the parent objects have
been unmanaged (by a person) or deleted (by a person, or by the
system for some mysterious reason).
c) you have done some sort of illegal cut/copy/paste operation that
left the symbols beyond the management of the ipmap application.
Are you seeing this on the IP Internet submap, or some place else?
Tell us more about what you are actually doing. It sounds like you are
taking the right approach to a gradual discovery of a complex network.

Subject: [NV-L] Networks & routers turning blue
Hi All
I am running Netview ver 6.0, AIX 4.3.& Framework 3.6.1
Problem
I discover networks and routers and they appear green, a couple of days
later they go blue - why?
I have autodiscover on and discover managed and auto adjust on
I have a seedfile which contains specific routers pertaining to a specific
site. Once they have been discovered, I replace the seedfile with the next
sites details etc.
Why are some (quite a few) turning blue.
Thanks in advance
Vynita
