Hi All

(Problem number 2 of the day)

We have a number of new routers that have hostnames set to
"router.<hostname>.<domain>".

What I mean by this is:

router is the word "router"
<hostname> is the hostname we have in our /etc/hosts file that maps to the
IP address we use in the seedfile to discover the router.
<domain> is the DNS domain

Is there a way of telling NetView to use the hostname set in the /etc/hosts
or DNS or NIS maps as the IP Name, hostname and Selection Name for a device
rather than the hostname that the device reports?

Cheers,
