Well, per the Appendix in the NetView Admin Guide the 58916869 trap is
issued by nemon when all segments for the network in question are in
critical status. Is this not what you are seeing? But your example here
is for 50790404, Network Marginal, isn't it? What is shown on the
card?

Subject: [NV-L] What the heck does this really mean?
Hey all,
Every day I "Network Down" messages from tivoli with the the event
# 58916869. This happens about 8 times a day.
My question is what does this really mean if my network is still up.
What is netview looking at?
All IP's that I can try are still reachable when this message is sent.
Does anybody else see these messages and your network is still OK?
