Hey, I just did that, created a SmartSet
with about 30 nodes. I used the 'nvUtil'
command line utility that manipulates
SmartSets. Pretty easy to cobble together
a command

nvUtil a SmartSetName "SmartSet Description" "`cat sss`"

where 'sss' is a file that contains all of the
selection commands, in my case:

('Selection Name' = 'NTCOMOSP02') || \
('Selection Name' = 'NTCOMOSP01') || \
('Selection Name' = '172.20.172.55') || \
('Selection Name' = '172.20.172.59')

I didn't show all of the lines, there were about 30 in all.

You can test your selection file by using

nvUtil e "`cat sss`"

to be sure it's right before you actually create the
smartset. Watch out for all of the quotes (single and double).

Worked like a dream.
