Try adding your own MIB expression to the mibExpr.conf file and use a
different name but with the same expression formula - you may consider this
a hack but it would probably allow you to do what you want. Then use this
new MIB expression for your other Data Collection definition.

Subject: [NV-L] Netview mibExpr.conf and MIB instance question

I am using some of the standard MIB expressions which are included in the
Netview mibExpr.conf file. I desire to specify different MIB instances on
different devices using the same MIB expression.

It appears that the GUI interface only provides for instances to be setup
one time for any given MIB expression. Is there some other means to achieve
my desired goal?

Thank You
Paul Maine
