That sounds fine...what's the syntax (I've tried nvpage <number> "date"
'date' date and $date)?
I'm using the dumbed-down IT Director Edition of Netview which I believe was
abandoned as far as patches and future releases go...at least that's what
tech support claimed when 6.0 was released and I inquired about an update to
the IT Director edition.

Why not just send the current time using "date"?
It won't be off by more than a second or two, since trapd will have only
logged just before calling your action. the differences aren't worth
worrying about if what you want is the time the event was logged. As for
the time sent, if all you are seeing is a "1" what version of NetView are
you using? That was an NT bug we fixed some time ago.
