Most of the download sites have a *.bff and a *.info file for each
image.  First, make sure your have the bff file (the image), then run
./inutoc in the directory where the image is located.  You can check the
resulting .toc file (assuming you get one)in that directory to make sure
you have what you think you have.  If you don't get a .toc file, then
there's a problem with the binary image you've downloaded, and you
should either try again, or call support and ask them to send you the
image on CD.

In your browser, you can probably see the location of the file you're
downloading, if you're connected to the internet or have a sockified IP
stack, you can then go to the location by ftp'ing from the command line
and get the image bff file manually (binary format).
