| It just means that netmon detected a ping response that wasn't from a ping
itself initiated.  You can see this by doing a ping from a command line.
OR
as James said, it had already expired the ping based on your configured
timeout settings.

I was having trouble discovering a few nodes... so I turned netmon-tracing
on.
When I did... I saw quite a few mesages that read...
"Received Unexpected Ping... From Node xxx"
What exactly does this message mean?  Its like it sends out a ping, and
then forgets that it sent it out.
Any ideas?
