Hello Jane,
As far as I can understand your problem, the UCD agent does not connect to
the Solaris agent (this is in fact a relay agent only, called snmpdx).
The protocol between these two is snmp, not agentx.
There is a Sun mib for this Solaris (relay) agent, and if you browse this
MIB you can find out which agents are connected.
You must also notify snmpdx about the existence of the ucd agent in its ini
files.(in /etc/snmp/conf).
There is a command line parameter (-d n ?) for the Solaris agent which gives
you detailed information about its snmp traffic.
I'm sorry that I can't be more specific, it is about a year ago that I
worked with it.
