I don't think you understand how the list works. It isn't private. Anyone
can send a posting to the list and that is automatically relayed to all
memebers. So this jerk set up a sniffer on a router or used an engine to
find out about the list and now he's just bouncing his spam to it. We all
get it. Perhaps a filter can be put in place to remove this junk but there
is little you can do to prevent it.
