Hello All,

Recently we are experiencing automatic deletion of devices from maps
which are perfectly good.
We are running NetView 6.0.1 on Solaris 2.7.

Here is one example, of many possible, of Netview
deleting perfectly good devices from the maps:

                979403723 3 Sat Jan 13 11:35:23 2001 pitts_146_179
N Interface lan0 down.
                979403723 3 Sat Jan 13 11:35:23 2001 pitts_146_179
N Node Down.
                979404328 3 Sat Jan 13 11:45:28 2001 pitts_146_179
N Interface lan0 up.
                979404329 3 Sat Jan 13 11:45:29 2001 pitts_146_179
N Node Up.
                979486135 7 Sun Jan 14 10:28:55 2001 pitts_146_179
N Node managed.
                979486135 1 Sun Jan 14 10:28:55 2001 pitts_146_179
N Interface lan0 Deleted
                979486135 1 Sun Jan 14 10:28:55 2001 pitts_146_179
N Node Deleted.

Does anybody know 'list of changes to devices' that causes deleting?

The node delete interval has been changed to 1 yr in snmp config.

Thanks in advance
