Hi Shailesh,
is it possible that the device is deleted during a scheduled configuration
poll? Try to do a demand-poll on a device. Is it deleted during the demand-poll?
We once had this experience. Either there were old objects in the database
which we could find using ovtopodump, ovmapdump, ovobjprint and grep'ing for
name / ip-addresses and then clean the database (look in the archive for how to
do ovtopofix etc.). If this doesn't help I am afraid your database may be
corrupt (was /usr/OV full sometimes?).

Hello All,
Recently we are experiencing automatic deletion of devices from maps
which are perfectly good.
We are running NetView 6.0.1 on Solaris 2.7.
Here is one example, of many possible, of Netview
deleting perfectly good devices from the maps:

N Interface lan0 Deleted
979486135 1 Sun Jan 14 10:28:55 2001 pitts_146_179
N Node Deleted.
Does anybody know 'list of changes to devices' that causes deleting?
The node delete interval has been changed to 1 yr in snmp config.
Thanks in advance
