Hi Netviewers,
Complusory information:
NetView 6.0.1
Framework 3.6.2
Solaris 2.6

Over the weekend we had a server fail and it was reported as Router Marginal
(Warning) rather than a Node Down (Major). The servers has 2 interfaces but no
routing loaded. The interface that failed was the Production network whilst the
Backups network stayed up.

The ovobjprint shows:
FIELD ID FIELD NAME FIELD VALUE
        10 Selection Name "fmddev1"
....

        116 isRouter FALSE
        117 isHub FALSE
        120 isWorkstation TRUE
        135 isIP TRUE

        156 SNMP sysObjectID "1.3.6.1.4.1.42.2.1.1"

                                                        "hme1 Up
10.126.0.14 255.255.0.0 0x0800209B56EB ethernet csmacd "

Why has Netview reported a Node as a router when isRouter = FALSE?
How do we set Netview so that when the Production interfaces fails the Major
alarm is raised, not managing the Backups interface is being considered.

Thanks
