Yes, it is safe to delete them.  But the fact that you get them indicates
that the daemons or other processes which are failing are encountering
unexpected problems and dying.  The core file is a system snapshot of the
failure.  What we expect you to do with your core files is to call Support
and report the problem.  But you can just ignore it if don't care.  You can
always take the view that someone else will call in or that the problems
will get resolved sooner or later, and just wait for the next maintenance
release.

Can anyone explain or tell me if it is safe to delete 'core' files in
netview, as these grow to enormous sizes.
