Interestingly, lots of mib expressions are in the file supplied with
Netview for NT while the one with Unix is largely void of anything useful.
Here's a copy from V5 NT. Make sure there are no blanks after the
continuation characters.

Subject: [NV-L] Mib expressions
Hi,
browsed the archives looking for examples of using mib expressions in Data
Collection, but didn't find that much. Also tried the adminguide and some
redbooks but not much of a luck there either. Is there any documentation of
examples about this?
I did find something in the NetView 6.0.1 and Friends Redbook in chapter 8,
NetView best practices saying that " ........ A listbox of sample MIB
expressions supplied by NetView appears. For our purposes, we select
BandwidthUtilIn." How do I find theese or do I have to load them somehow?
In my mibExpr.conf there are only three expression provided by NetView;
If%inErrors, If%outErrors and Trapgend_Diskutil.
Another thing; which mib query do I use to fid out if an iterface is
running in full or half duplex mode?
