Just to let anyone else out there know....If you uninstall Powernet Manager for
NetView, the apcovd daemon belongs to that application suite. I had uninstalled
the app after testing and for some reason the daemon wan not un-registered (if
that's a word :-)

I am running NetView 6.0.1 on AIX 4.3.2
I installed TIPN (Tivoli Integration Pack for NetView) version 6.0 and the
installation went fine. At the end of the install I stopped all of the daemons
from smitty and attempted to restart them in the same manner. I get the
following errors:
portmap is already running
