Hmmm...I may be confusing the issue as well. Here's what I think I know:
TDS was installed with a DB2 database to store it's data.
Netview was installed, but data could not be pushed to the DB2 database,
because the TDS guides did not support DB2.
More time passed, and suddenly DB2 is supported (That's what I was told).
What I have been told is that we may now use TDS to look at the Netview data
being pushed to the DB2 database. So we are working on this but do not yet
have it working. It did claim to be sending data to the database for the first
couple of days. The local TDS Guides person has not yet installed the TDS
Netview guides, so I haven't seen anything regarding what it can tell us.
I hope I'm describing this better this time, but it sounds like it is in direct
contradiction to what you know.
I opened a support case, so we'll see if they have anything different to say
when I talk with them.
