Using an NV ruleset to send an alpha-numeric message via analog m odem.

        Has anyone on the list had any experience using NetView to send a
text message to an alpha-numeric pager via analog modem?
We have a solaris 2.7 system with a USR56k modem attached via serial port.
We've verified connectivity with the 'tip' command.  However,
I myself am unsure how to go about configuring NetView to call the pagers #
and send a text message.  We have, in /usr/OV/conf, a file named nv.carriers
which contain the configuration for the pagers that we could potentially
send events to.  There is a ruleset configured to access one of the carriers
from that file.

At any rate, if anyone has any experience with this, any suggestions,
comments, or advice is most welcome.
