Archiving/celaring thresholds files

Hi,

I use "Data Collection & Tresholds: SNMP ..." from the Tools menu of NV.
Some of
data are stored in the files. But my filesystem is getting full and I can't
expand it any more. Is there any possibility to limit the size of these
files or perform an automatic action for their clearing? And if I would
like to delete all the files how could I archive them not to lose all data
to re-read them some day in the future?
I have NV 5.0 for AIX.
