Hi Terry
You can do this under root:
chown root /usr/OV/bin/netmon
chgrp system /usr/OV/bin/netmon
chmod 4555 /usr/OV/bin/netmon
After this, you can reload netmon by "netmon -y" without root authority.

Subject: [NV-L] User Privileges
Hi all,
We are running Netview 5.1.3 on AIX 4.3.3.
We do not launch Netview from the Tivoli desktop, it is launched directly
from the command line.
Is there any way to issue netmon -y to reload the seed file without having
root authority?
Thanks... Terry
