I'm interested in this as well.
There used to be (more than four years ago) a standard TPC/IP stack with a
MIB-II agent. It was an add-on for OS/2 v2.
Alternatively there was an extended agent included with NetView for OS/2
with support for HR MIB and some other subagents, which gave you detailed
information on the OS/2 and the services.
I was looking for a third part agent like EMANATE from SNMP research
http://www.snmp.com/products/emanate.html, but would like to know status and
functionality of the OS/2 SNMP agent from IBM (if any).
Best regards,
Michael.

Subject: [NV-L] SNMP on OS/2 V4
Hi All!
I would like to be able to manage some OS/2 V4 machines with NetView and
would therefore like to have SNMP installed.
Having looked through an OS/2 V4 installation, I can't find any SNMP files
anywhere. The tcphelp shows that SNMP support has been removed from the
installation. This would imply that it has been put somwhere else.
Can someone please tell me what I need to install to have SNMP on OS/2 V4.
Cheers,
