Well, you can, but there is a cost. The product is designed to
support multiple maps. If you do a 'File...Save Map As' and make
copies of the map for each user, and then delete the parts you
don't want them to have, then you have your restricted views.
But the administration of multiple maps is tricky. To delete and
rediscover a node, you must open each one that has it and
delete it there. And you have to be careful of which option
(-A or -a) you use with ovtopofix. One of them will flush all nodes
back to all maps.

With a single map, which is easiest to administer, you cannot
restrict users to a view. You can set a home submap for them
so they can see that first when they start the map, but you cannot
stop them from navigating to the rest of it.

Events displays, of course can be filtered for each user.

In what ways and how could I restrict a user to just getting their own
submap. Right now all users can see all smartsets and maps. I would like
the
user to come in with their exceed client and just see their events and
map(s). Please help!
