I take it you are using the NT product because the UNIX version does not
have a native, persistent events database, only trapd.log. For NT, you can
turn on the logging of events, which is your easiest option, by using
Server setup and configuring the trapd daemon to log. This creates
\usr\ov\log\trapd.log, the same as in UNIX. If that is not good enough,
then you will have to purchase either MS Access or MS SQL-DB, whichever one
you are using to store the events, and export using their native utilities.
I don't know of anything else you could do.
What does it mean to say , "We're in a transitional stage for our Netview
box"?

Subject: [NV-L] Events Database Export
Hi,
We're in a transitional stage for our Netview box and we require the events
database in Netview to be exported to ASCII format. Is that at all
possible?
