Subject: [NV-L] Monitoring TCP Ports
Hi All
I have used nvsniffer to build up some smartsets (or collections depending
on your version) that contain NetView managed nodes listening on specific
ports (8090) in my case.
This is all well and good, but I now need to know if there is a service
listening on the end of the port.
Is there some sort of NetView functionality that I can implement to poll
these ports on the appropriate devices?
Cheers,
Danny Williams
