This message is in MIME format. Since your mail reader does not understand this format, some or all of this message may not be legible. We use both actually. For Half Duplex lines, though, you can add ifInOctets and ifOutOctets together to get utilization. Our detailed report involves using a mib expression to collect both incoming and outgoing interface utilization as this is more representative in providing utilization reports. Hence our reports consist of both Transmit and Received utilization. Utilization is calculated as 100 * 8 * ifInOctets / ifSpeed and 100 * 8 * ifOutOctets / ifSpeed of course this is only for serial or ethernet links. we use the the frame relay mibs if we want to collect information from FR interfaces again using a mib expression. Kbps). Pls describe how to get the detailed report on this. Regards, Santosh We use

Our
detailed report involves using a mib _expression_ to collect both incoming and
outgoing interface utilization as this is more representative in providing
utilization reports. Hence our reports consist of both Transmit and Received
utilization. Utilization is calculated as
100 *
8 * ifInOctets / ifSpeed and
100 *
8 * ifOutOctets / ifSpeed
of
course this is only for serial or ethernet links. we use the the frame relay
mibs if we want to collect information from FR interfaces again using a mib
_expression_.
