Hello All,
Here is a curiosity that I ran across today.

The device (listed below) is flagged as a HUB,
but, it is not a hub.
It is a rack mounted 3Com (OEM'd) UPS.
NetView incorrectly draws this device at the
Network level due to the H flag.
I have removed the H flag on my NetView system.
Similarly, HP OpenView has the same error in its
oid_to_type file.
Note: Enterprise ID 534=Powerware (formerly
Exide)
---------------------------------------------------

The following is Object Information from NetView :

SNMPAgent: 3Com SuperStack II UPS(47)
SNMP sysDescr: Powerware ConnectUPS Adapter (c)
Ver 2.53

These are the entries that need corrected in
/usr/OV/conf/oid_to_type :
1.3.6.1.4.1.534.2.5.1:H # 3Com SuperStackUPS
(Ethernet)
1.3.6.1.4.1.534.2.7.1:H # 3Com SuperStackUPS
(Ethernet)
