The software can be ordered from IBM Direct or from Tivoli. It is 5698-NVW.
You will need to know your managment points requirements. Here's the
formula:

2 points per router with <= 25 ports, switches with <=50 ports
5 points per router with up to 50 ports, switches with up to 100 ports
8 points per router with >=51 ports, switches with >=101 ports, all
     ATM, FrameRelay, etc WAN switches
Servers, printers, etc don't count.

I won't quote a price here, since I have not looked it up recently, but you
can
check the general Tivoli pricing announcement letter or call IBM Direct for
the current list price. There is a price for a point, and a price for a
bundle of
250 points. Maintenance is free for the first year, and chargable after
that.
The maintenance fee is also points-based.

There are other ways to purchase Netview, for instance as part of a larger
bundle of Tivoli products, so you may want to talk to your Tivoli/IBM
software rep.

I hope this helps.

Subject: [NV-L] NetView Pricing

Can someone provide pricing for NetView? Is there only one pricing model,
or is there a variation? Could you kindly provide the pricing preposition?
Thank you.
