To get the best out of data collection on Netview for NT you must
put on the maintenance to be at 6.02. A lot does not work in that area
in 6.0. Also make sure that you are using the best level of ODBC
drivers. The one delivered on the CD may be better than the one
you are using.
That said, the grapher, as I understand it, will only show you data
since the last time you started snmpCollect. This is a limitation of the
product.
Anyone else?

Subject: [NV-L] tme 10 Netview Ver 6.0 on NT - Data Collection
Hi All,
Our Environment is Netview Ver 6.0 running on Windows NT Server Ver 4.0
with SP6.
I am looking for some suggestions or knlowedge sharing on the following are
2 points:
The SNMP Collect Data for any MIB Variables (Value) are only showing
values / data for from 3:30pm of last day onwards i,e if i click the
data button for let say "frcircuitstate" now it will show me the data
from 3rd may 3:30pm onwards where as it should show the data from 30th
April when we started the collection. When I tried to look for collected
data on 3rd may it was showing the the data from 2nd May 3:30pm onwards,
This seems very strange as we have not selected the option of data
purging anytime under Files TAB in Netview Server Setup Screen.
When I select "Graph" Button after collecting the Data I get Dr.Watson
error.
Looking forward for some suggestions / solutions..
Thanking you,
With Warm Regards,
