Only in the sense that the event window uses a bit more memory to show them
and the trapd,log a bit more space to log them.
But no more cpu to process

Subject:  [NV-L] Refining Traps

Group,
     Using 6.0.1 on AIX 4.3.3

     I have noticed that some of my traps come in as multiple entries. In
looking at the Trap GUI, i see that there are "\n" UNIX carriage
return/line
feeds placed in the Event Log Message window.
     Question: Do each of these multiple entries, as opposed to a single
entry with all of the information, in the event log/trapd.log cause
additional overhead to the NetView system?

          Thanks,
          Bill
