Use a Smartset. Smartsets come in four flavors, most common being
Attribute, but they can also be defined by subnet by toggling that button
at the top of the dialog. This is the only way I know of to identify a Node
with relation to its address, since address is generally only an attribute
of Interfaces.
In the rule, after checking the trap settings, then use a Query Database
Smartset to check for membership in your subnet smartset.

Subject: [NV-L] node up/down for specific subnet
Hi,
I would like to be able to monitor node down events of
machines/servers located in a specific subnet only.
What is the way to filter out such events for machines
located with the specified subnet address only?
Thanks a lot.
