Its difficult to say because performance testing for v7 has not been done
yet or at least is not complete yet. I would take a guess that you should
be ok considering you are probably better equiped than you need to be for
the current number of objects in your DB but this is good as it obviously
leaves room for expansion.
There are other factors including how aggressive your status polling is and
how much snmp data collection you are trying to do. I'm also assuming you
aren't running anything else on this box !

I am in the middle of submitting my budgetary numbers for the network
management and would like to find out if someone can tell me whether the
system requirements for NV v7.x will be any different from the NV6.x
specs.
I am running NV6.0.2 on an F50 with 3GB RAM and 4-332MHz processors.
Should I be looking at a another system to run NV7.x? I have a relatively
modest database with approximately 3000 object.
