I use the: '-printCommand "xwd2ps | lp" ' option to print to a color
postscript printer.
There are several options to xwd2ps, see the manual page.
xwd2ps converts xwd output to postscript format.
You should be able to find a AIX version of xwd2ps on the Web, I only have
a Solaris version.
I think the standard xpr only produces grayscale, at least for postscript
printers.
