Is there any way to specify that a node should be status polled via SNMP other than the seed file, or is that *the* way of doing it? If that is the only way, does this work if discovery is turned off?....i.e. does Netview read/use the seed file when discovery is turned off (which is the way we are running)? The doc seems a bit unclear on this, and we are trying to determine how to force SNMP polling for nodes added via loadhosts. Thanx! -------------------------------------- Scott P.
