Yes i can see the data if i do NOT specify the interface but in that case
it shows 4 as the interface no. for all four PVCs(4.77, 4.90 4.100 and
4.600). So it is not possible to identify which value corresponds to which
PVC

There were a number of fixes related to snmp data collection and viewing
in 6.0.2 on NT, so you should get that on soon. Joe, have you seen this
work?
Also, Ajay, can you get the data if you do NOT specify the interface? That
is,
can you use some other criteria, like all of the data for a node?

Cordially,

Hi Joe,

I have the same configuration as you stated, Data is being stored in flat
file and ODBC database. you are very true that in flat file it stores the
data and i can see these files named frCircuitstate.4.77,
frCircuitstate4.90 etc..... in /usr/ov/databases/snmpcollect directory .

But the only problem is how to view the data collected in these files. I
have tried using both GUI and SNMPODUMP command but when I give instance
no. as 4.90 or 4.77 it says please enter integer value for instance no.

If you know the right process to view this collected data in flat file,
please do let me know.

Look forward to hear from you

Thanks a lot

Hi Ajay,

On NT, I believe the DB schema for the Microsoft Access storage does not
support compound indices, as used in Frame Relay DLCIs e.g. 4.77, 4.90

However, the flat file storage supports this.

So set up your snmpcollect daemon to store data in both the internal flat
files and the ODBC data base. It takes only a few clicks on the server set
up to do this.

You should then be able to see collected data by PVC: 4.77, 4.90 etc
