Jason, You also want to verify that you can talk to the device for discovery. A great way to do that is with /usr/OV/bin/netcheck note: if my memory serves me right, if you ping an IF that exists within a NetView managed subnet, then it should get discovered. If you ping an IF that is in a subnet that NetView does NOT know about or manage, it will not add that subnet and device. Loadhosts will add the subnet and device. check out the man pages for netcheck and loadhosts.
