Tru64 / Digital Unix is not a supported platform for NetView 7.1 and will
not be.
The last release of NetView to support Tru64 is NetView Version 6. The
current maintenance level is 6.0.2.
The last level of Tru64 tested was 5.1. It is unlikely that any more
levels will ever be tested or supported.

Since Compaq has effectively discontinued its support for NetView (you can
no longer get it from them) and seems to be drawing away from UNIX
altogether, Tru64 was dropped in favor of Linux for NetView 7.1.

Sorry to say, if you are not already aware, but support for Version 5.1 on
all platforms and in all geographies ends on January 2, 2002, a little
over ten weeks from now. You can, of course, continue to use it
unsupported for as long as you like.

We are currently running v5.1 on a Digital Unix server. Does anyone
know
want is the most current version of Netview for this flavor of UNIX? I
was reading James note on v7.1 of Netview and there was no mention of the
DIgital Unix Platform. Will DIgital Unix be a supported platform? I'm
wanting to build a business case for an upgrade so any information would
be
appreciated. Thanks!
